On THIS Armed Forces Day, - Saturday, May 18th at 7:00 pm -DON'T MISS a Musical Salute to all Veterans - in a 1940's Big Band Style Concert - featuring the Blue Serenade Orchestra and the Midlands of SC only Auditioned Community Handbell Ensemble , Southern Bronze . This free concert will feature the music of World War II -plus selections from Korean War , and the Vietnam War plus patriotic selections. It will be held at Union United Methodist Church - 7582 Woodrow St - Irmo.

Welcome to the website of the midlands of South Carolina's only advanced community handbell choir - Southern Bronze.   We are an auditioned five octave handbell ensemble, directed by Betty Myers.  We are always looking for advanced ringers though our open auditions are held in early August.  We rehearse weekly on Sunday evenings from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Trenholm Road United Methodist Church from late August to May.

 

 

 

 

 

 

We also have a need for a four in hand player and a low bass player to start with us in January 2013. If you know someone or you would like to play some challenging music, please submit the application.
